3. Structure
The fast thermocouple boasts an advanced design, primarily featuring a temperature measuring probe encased in a large paper tube. The probe's positive and negative wires are expertly soldered to an extension wire, which is carefully embedded within a supportive bracket and shielded by a small paper tube. Sturdy quartz components provide superior protection to these thermo wires. A protective cap ensures the probe remains clean and free from dregs. All elements are meticulously assembled into a cohesive thermocouple tip, expertly secured by a fire-resistant filler, ensuring the thermocouple is safely disposable.
4. Usage
1. Select the optimal length for the protective paper tube and thermocouple lance, perfectly tailored to suit the specific measurement task.
2. Attach the fast thermocouple to the thermocouple lance, making sure that the secondary instrument (or digital display) is reset to zero before beginning measurement.
3. For achieving optimal precision, insert the fast thermocouple into the molten steel to a depth of 300-400mm, avoiding any contact with the furnace wall or scum. Once the secondary instrument shows the temperature reading, swiftly withdraw the temperature measuring gun. Ensure the thermocouple's immersion in the molten steel is brief, lasting less than 5 seconds, to prevent lance burnout.
4. Replace the used thermocouple with a new one, allowing for a brief pause to prepare for the next measurement.
5. Transport and Storage
Exercise diligence during the assembly and disassembly of parts. Ensure the products are kept dry during transportation. Store them in cases within a warehouse with a relative humidity below 80% and ensure ample air circulation. The storage environment should be free from harmful gases that may cause corrosion.
