Introducing our hot-selling, expandable fast thermocouple designed specifically for foundries and proudly made in China, ensuring precision and reliability.
1. Purpose and Working Principle of Fast Thermocouple:
Our fast thermocouple is indispensable for accurately measuring the temperature of molten steel and other high-temperature molten metals. As a single-use device, it harnesses the thermoelectric effect present in metals. Its operation is based on the principle of detecting temperature differences across its two sides, delivering swift and precise readings.

3. Structure
The fast thermocouple's intelligent design includes a temperature measuring probe and a robust paper tube. The probe's positive and negative wires are expertly welded to an extension wire, securely housed within a support bracket and encased by a smaller paper tube. Quartz supports and shields the thermo wires, while the probe itself is capped to guard against dregs. All components are integrated into a singular thermocouple tip, bonded by a fire-resistant filler, ensuring the thermocouple is perfect for single use.
4. Usage
1, Select the optimal length of the protective paper tube and thermocouple lance, tailored to the specific measurement object and scope.
2, Securely attach the fast thermocouple to the thermocouple lance, ensuring the secondary instrument's pointer (or digital display) resets to zero before commencing with accurate measurement.
3, For best results, insert the fast thermocouple into the molten steel to a depth of 300-400mm, avoiding contact with furnace walls or scum. Promptly retrieve the temperature measuring gun once the secondary instrument registers the results. Limit the soak time in molten steel to under 5 seconds to prevent potential lance burnout.
4, Replace the used thermocouple with a new one and allow a brief pause to prepare for subsequent measurements.
5. Transport and Storage
Exercise caution during assembly and disassembly processes. Ensure dryness throughout transportation. Store products in cases within warehouses maintaining relative humidity below 80%, with proper airflow. The environment should be free of harmful gases to prevent product corrosion.
