3. Structure
The fast thermocouple features a sophisticated assembly consisting of a robust temperature measuring probe encased within a large paper tube. The intricate network of positive and negative wires is expertly welded to an extension wire, securely nestled within a support bracket and shielded by a small paper tube. Quartz provides unbeatable support and protection to the thermo wires, while a cap safeguards the probe from debris. All components are meticulously integrated into a cohesive thermocouple tip using a fire-resistant filler, ensuring disposability and efficiency.
4. Usage
1, Choose an appropriately sized protective paper tube and thermocouple lance tailored to your specific measurement needs and objectives.
2, Secure the fast thermocouple to the thermocouple lance, ensuring the secondary instrument's pointer (or digital display) resets to zero before commencing measurement.
3, For optimal results, insert the fast thermocouple into the molten steel at a depth of 300-400mm, avoiding contact with the furnace wall or slag. Promptly withdraw the temperature measuring gun once the secondary instrument registers the temperature, keeping the immersion time under 5 seconds to prevent potential damage to the lance.
4, Replace the spent thermocouple with a fresh one and allow a brief pause to prepare for subsequent measurements, ensuring seamless operation.
