The Fast Thermocouple's core structure is ingeniously designed, comprising a temperature measuring probe and a substantial paper tube. The positive and negative wires are seamlessly welded to an extension wire nestled within a support bracket, encased in a protective small paper tube. Quartz supports and shields the thermo wires, while a protective cap guards the probe against debris. All elements are expertly assembled into a cohesive unit with fire-resistant filler, ensuring the thermocouple remains a dependable disposable product.
4. Usage Guidelines:
1, Choose the appropriate length for the protective paper tube and thermocouple lance tailored to the specific object and measurement scope.
2, Secure the Fast Thermocouple to the lance, ensuring the secondary instrument's pointer or digital display is reset to zero before commencing measurement.
3, For optimal results, insert the Fast Thermocouple 300-400mm into the molten steel, avoiding contact with the furnace wall or scum. Rapidly retrieve the temperature measuring gun once the secondary instrument displays the measurement. The immersion time should not exceed 5 seconds to prevent damage to the lance.
4, Replace the used thermocouple with a new one, allowing a brief pause before proceeding with the next measurement.
5. Meticulous Transport and Storage Instructions:
Exercise caution during assembly and disassembly. Maintain a dry environment during transport. Store products in containers within warehouses where relative humidity is below 80%, ensuring adequate airflow and the absence of harmful, corrosive gases.
