3. Structure
Our Fast Thermocouple boasts a sophisticated structure composed of a temperature measuring probe connected to a robust paper tube. The positive and negative wires of the probe are meticulously welded to an extension wire nestled within a support bracket, all sheathed in a compact paper tube. These thermo wires are fortified and insulated by durable quartz. To shield the temperature measuring probe from debris, a protective cap is incorporated. All these elements converge into a cohesive thermocouple tip, unified by a fire-resistant filler, ensuring that the fast thermocouple remains convenient and ready for single-use efficiency.
4. Usage
1. Choose the appropriate length of the protective paper tube and thermocouple lance based on the measurement object and scope for optimal outcomes.
2. Secure the fast thermocouple to the lance, then reset the secondary instrument pointer (or digital display) to zero. Measurement can then commence seamlessly.
3. For best results, insert the fast thermocouple into the molten steel at a depth of 300-400mm, ensuring it doesn't contact the furnace wall or scum. Withdraw the temperature measuring gun promptly once the secondary instrument displays results. The thermocouple should be immersed for less than 5 seconds to prevent lance damage due to excessive heat.
4. Replace the used thermocouple with a new one, allowing a brief pause to prepare for subsequent measurements, ensuring continuous and effective monitoring.
