3. Structure
Our fast thermocouple boasts a sophisticated composition, featuring a temperature measuring probe integrated with a robust large paper tube. The probe's positive and negative wires are expertly welded to an extension wire, meticulously embedded in a support bracket enveloped by a durable small paper tube. The thermowires, upheld and safeguarded by quartz, are capped to shield against dregs. These precision components are encapsulated within a thermocouple tip, seamlessly bonded into a cohesive unit with fire-resistant filler, marking it as consumable yet effective.
4. Usage
1. Carefully choose the appropriate length of protective paper tube and thermocouple lance tailored to your measurement objectives and requirements.
2. Securely connect the fast thermocouple to the thermocouple lance, ensuring the secondary instrument (or digital display) pointer returns to zero before commencing measurement.
3. For optimal performance, insert the fast thermocouple into the molten steel to a depth of 300-400mm, avoiding contact with the furnace wall or scum. Promptly withdraw the temperature measuring gun once the secondary instrument registers results. Limit the soak time of the thermocouple in molten steel to under 5 seconds to prevent lance damage.
4. Replace the used thermocouple with a new one, allowing a brief pause to prepare for the subsequent measurement, ensuring seamless continuity in temperature assessment.
