3. Structure
This fast thermocouple boasts a sophisticated design, featuring a temperature measuring probe beautifully encased in a large paper tube. The probe's positive and negative wires are expertly welded to an extension wire, embedded within a sturdy bracket, and shielded by a small paper tube. Superior quartz ensures utmost protection for these thermo wires. A protective cap keeps the probe pristine and dreg-free. With every component meticulously assembled into a cohesive tip, the thermocouple is securely bonded with fire-resistant filler, ensuring safe disposal after use.
4. Usage
1. Carefully select a protective paper tube and thermocouple lance length that suits your specific measurement needs, ensuring optimal protection and accuracy.
2. Attach the fast thermocouple to the lance, and make sure to reset the secondary instrument or digital display to zero before beginning your measurement for precise results.
3. Insert the fast thermocouple into molten steel to a depth of 300-400mm for accurate readings. Avoid contact with the furnace wall or scum. Once the temperature is displayed, quickly withdraw to prevent lance burnout. Keep immersion under 5 seconds for safety.
4. After measurement, replace the used thermocouple with a new one. Allow a brief pause to prepare for the next measurement, ensuring seamless operations.
5. Transport and Storage
Handle parts with utmost care during assembly and disassembly. Maintain dryness during transit and store in a well-ventilated warehouse with humidity below 80%. Ensure the environment is free from harmful gases to prevent corrosion.
