The fast thermocouple's construction is a testament to advanced engineering, consisting of a meticulously crafted temperature measuring probe encased in a durable paper tube. The probe's positive and negative wires are expertly welded to an extension wire, supported by a robust support bracket within a smaller paper tube. Protected by the resilience of quartz, these thermo wires ensure precision. A protective cap shields the probe from dregs, while all components are seamlessly integrated into a cohesive, fire-resistant thermocouple tip, emphasizing its disposability.
4. Usage
1. Select the perfect length of the protective paper tube and thermocouple lance tailored to your measurement target's needs and scope.
2. Securely attach the fast thermocouple to the lance, ensuring the secondary instrument's needle (or digital display) is reset to zero before commencing measurement.
3. For optimal accuracy, insert the fast thermocouple at a depth of 300-400mm into the molten steel, avoiding contact with furnace walls or impurities. Once the secondary instrument registers the temperature, promptly retract the measuring gun. Be sure to limit the thermocouple's immersion time to under 5 seconds to prevent lance damage.
4. After use, replace the spent thermocouple with a new one and allow a brief pause to prepare for subsequent measurements.
5. Transport and Storage
Handle assemblies with care during both assembly and disassembly stages. Transportation should maintain product dryness, using cases that protect against moisture. Store items in warehouses with less than 80% humidity and ensure ventilation. The environment must be free from harmful gases that could compromise product integrity.
