3. Structure
The fast thermocouple boasts a robust design, primarily consisting of a temperature measuring probe and a substantial paper tube. The probe's positive and negative wires are seamlessly welded to an extension wire, which is securely embedded within a supporting bracket and encased by a smaller paper tube. These thermo wires are safeguarded by quartz for added durability. The probe is capped to prevent contamination from dregs, with all components housed within a thermocouple tip and unified by a fire-resistant filler, ensuring the thermocouple remains reliably disposable.
4. Usage
1, Choose the optimal length of the protective paper tube and thermocouple lance based on the specific object and measurement scope to ensure precision.
2, Securely attach the fast thermocouple to the thermocouple lance, ensuring the secondary instrument's pointer (or digital display) resets to zero. Proceed with the measurement with confidence.
3, For best results, insert the fast thermocouple into the molten steel at a depth of 300-400mm, avoiding contact with the furnace wall or any scum. Promptly withdraw the temperature measuring gun once the secondary instrument displays results. Ensure the soak time in molten steel is under 5 seconds to prevent lance damage.
4, After use, replace the thermocouple with a new one and allow a brief pause to prepare for the next measurement cycle.
5. Transport and Storage
Exercise caution when assembling and dismantling components. Maintain dryness during transportation. Store products in cases within warehouses where relative humidity is below 80%, ensuring good air circulation and absence of corrosive gases.
