The meticulously welded positive and negative probe wires are secured with an extension wire, housed within a durable bracket, and shielded by a compact paper tube. High-grade quartz offers additional support and protection for the thermo wires. The protective cap ensures that the probe remains free of debris, while all components are seamlessly integrated into a unified thermocouple tip, cohesively bonded with fire-resistant filler, ensuring safe and easy disposal.
4. Application Guidelines
1. Choose the protective paper tube length and thermocouple lance that best suit the specific measurement requirements for precision and safety.
2. Securely attach the fast thermocouple to the lance, ensuring the secondary instrument or digital display is zeroed before commencing the measurement process.
3. For precise results, insert the thermocouple into the molten steel to a depth of 300-400mm, avoiding contact with the furnace walls or slag. Once the secondary instrument displays the temperature, promptly retract the temperature measuring device. Keep immersion brief, under 5 seconds, to prevent lance burnout.
4. Replace used thermocouples swiftly with new ones, allowing a brief pause to ready for the next measurement cycle.
5. Transportation and Storage Guidelines
Handle all components with care during assembly and disassembly. Ensure products remain dry during transit. Store them properly in cases within a well-ventilated warehouse, maintaining less than 80% relative humidity, free of corrosive gases to prevent damage.
