Affordable Disposable Thermocouples: Directly Sourced from Premier Chinese Manufacturers
1. Purpose and Working Principle of Fast Thermocouple:
Crafted for precision, our fast thermocouples are indispensable tools for accurately measuring the temperature of molten steel and high-temperature molten metals. These single-use marvels operate on the principle of the thermoelectric effect, leveraging the temperature differential between their two terminals to deliver reliable readings.

3. Structure
Ingeniously designed, the fast thermocouple consists of a temperature measuring probe paired with a robust paper tube. The positive and negative wires of the probe are seamlessly welded to an extension wire within a supportive bracket, which is encased in a small paper tube. This sophisticated structure is fortified by quartz, ensuring stability and protection. A protective cap guards the probe against any slag contamination. All these elements are assembled within a thermocouple tip, unified by a fire-resistant filler, culminating in a highly efficient disposable unit.
4. Usage
1. Select the appropriate length for both the protective paper tube and the thermocouple lance, tailored to meet the specific requirements of your measurement task.
2. Affix the fast thermocouple to the thermocouple lance, ensuring that the pointer of the secondary instrument (or digital display) resets to zero before commencing the measurement process.
3. For optimal results, insert the fast thermocouple into the molten steel to a depth of 300-400mm, carefully avoiding contact with the furnace wall or any scum. Once the secondary instrument indicates the temperature, promptly withdraw the temperature measuring gun. Note that the immersion time should not exceed 5 seconds to prevent damage to the lance.
4. Replace the spent thermocouple with a fresh one, allowing a brief intermission before proceeding with the next measurement to ensure accuracy and safety.
5. Transport and Storage
Exercise caution during assembly and disassembly. Maintain dryness throughout transportation. Store the products in cases within warehouses where relative humidity remains below 80%. Ensure adequate air circulation, free from corrosive gases, to preserve the integrity of the products.
