4. Usage
1, Choose the appropriate length of protective paper tube and thermocouple lance based on your measurement needs and environment.
2, Attach the fast thermocouple to the lance, ensuring the secondary instrument's pointer (or digital display) is reset to zero before measuring.
3, For optimal accuracy, insert the fast thermocouple into the molten steel to a depth of 300-400mm, avoiding the furnace wall or scum. Retrieve the temperature reading promptly to prevent damage; ensure the immersion time is under 5 seconds to protect the lance from burning.
4, Replace the used thermocouple with a new one, allowing a brief pause to prepare for the next measurement session.
