3. Structure
The fast thermocouple features a sophisticated design, primarily comprising a temperature measuring probe housed within a robust paper tube. The probe's positive and negative wires are seamlessly welded to an embedded extension wire, supported by a durable bracket sheathed in a small paper tube. Enhanced by quartz protection, the thermo wires are safeguarded, while a protective cap shields the probe from debris. All components are meticulously integrated within the thermocouple tip, unified by a fire-resistant filler, ensuring single-use efficiency and safety.
4. Usage
1. Carefully choose the correct length of protective paper tube and thermocouple lance based on your specific measurement needs and objectives.
2. Securely attach the fast thermocouple to the thermocouple lance. Ensure the pointer of the secondary instrument (or digital display) resets to zero, then proceed with measurement.
3. For optimal results, insert the fast thermocouple into the molten steel to a depth of 300-400mm, avoiding contact with furnace walls or slag. Once the secondary instrument indicates a temperature, promptly withdraw the measuring gun. Limit the thermocouple's immersion time to under 5 seconds to prevent lance burnout.
4. Replace the expended thermocouple with a new one, allowing a brief pause to prepare for the subsequent measurement.
5. Transportation and Storage
Handle components with care during assembly and disassembly. Ensure dryness during transit. Store products in cases within warehouses, maintaining a relative humidity below 80% and ensuring good airflow. Avoid exposure to harmful gases that could cause corrosion.
