How to use
 

Connection of thermocouples
1. Parallel connection:
The thermocouple heads of several thermocouples are assembled, and the positive and negative poles of the same thermocouple are connected together to form a parallel thermocouple circuit.
The power supply in the parallel circuit is led out and connected to the corresponding interface of the measuring instrument, so that the measuring instrument can measure the signal of the multi-channel thermocouple normally.
Note: The impedance of the thermocouple should not be too high, generally should not exceed 1000 ohms, otherwise it will affect the accuracy of temperature measurement. At the same time, it is necessary to consider channel isolation to avoid mutual interference.
2. Series connection:
Multiple thermocouples are connected in series in a certain sequence, where the negative electrode of the first thermocouple is connected to the power supply, and the positive electrode of the last thermocouple is connected to the receiving instrument.
Note: Since each thermocouple in the series circuit will introduce a certain resistance, the current and voltage of the series circuit need to be adjusted according to actual needs when in use to ensure measurement accuracy. At the same time, the end of the thermocouple can not be short, otherwise it will cause the circuit to not work normally.

The measurement of thermocouples
1. Preparation before measurement:
Ensure that the connection between the thermocouple and the measuring instrument is correct and reliable.
Check the insulation performance of the thermocouple to ensure that there is no bad insulation.
Select the appropriate thermocouple type and index number according to the measurement requirements.
2. Take measurements:
Insert the measuring end of the thermocouple into the measured medium to ensure that there is sufficient heat exchange between the measuring end and the measured medium.
Wait for a period of time for the thermocouple to reach thermal equilibrium with the measured medium.
Read the temperature indication value on the measuring instrument, that is, the temperature of the measured medium.
3. Precautions:
In the high temperature measurement, it is necessary to select a high temperature cable to ensure that the cable itself is not distorted.
The contact surface of the thermocouple should be kept clean to ensure the accuracy of signal transmission.
Different types of thermocouples need attention when connecting, because their thermoelectric potential is different, and it is easy to produce errors after series or parallel.

Packaging & Shipping

Be careful when assembling and removing the parts. Keep dry in the transportational process. The products should be put into cases and stored at warehouses where the relative humidity is less than 80%. Keep the air flowing. The air should not contain harmful gases which may corrode the products.
