3. Structure
The fast thermocouple features a sophisticated design with a temperature measuring probe and an extensive paper tube. The positive and negative wires are meticulously welded to an extension wire, secured within a support bracket encased in a smaller paper tube. Quartz supports and protects the thermo wires, with a protective cap shielding the probe from dregs. All components are seamlessly integrated within a thermocouple tip, bound together by fire-resistant filler, offering a practical disposable solution.
4. Usage
1, Choose the optimal length for both the protective paper tube and thermocouple lance, tailored to your specific measuring needs.
2, Securely attach the fast thermocouple to the lance, ensuring the secondary instrument's pointer (or digital display) resets to zero before commencing measurement.
3, For optimal results, insert the thermocouple into the molten steel to a depth of 300-400mm. Avoid contact with furnace walls or scum. Promptly remove the temperature measuring gun once readings are obtained. Ensure the thermocouple's soak time in molten steel is under 5 seconds to prevent lance damage.
4, Replace the used thermocouple with a new one, allowing a brief pause to prepare for the subsequent measurement session.
5. Transport and Storage
Handle with care during assembly and dismantling. Maintain dryness throughout transportation. Store products in cases within warehouses where relative humidity is under 80%, ensuring consistent airflow. The environment must be free from corrosive gases to safeguard product integrity.
