3. Structure
The fast thermocouple features a sophisticated design, primarily composed of a temperature measuring probe and an encompassing large paper tube. The positive and negative wires of the probe are expertly welded to an extension wire, snugly embedded within a supportive bracket and shielded by a small paper tube. Superior quartz supports and protects these thermo wires. A protective cap ensures the probe remains free from dregs, while all components are meticulously assembled into a cohesive thermocouple tip, securely bonded by fire-resistant filler, making the thermocouple safely disposable.
4. Usage
1. Select the appropriate length for the protective paper tube and thermocouple lance tailored to the specific measurement task.
2. Attach the fast thermocouple to the thermocouple lance, ensuring that the secondary instrument (or digital display) is reset to zero before initiating measurement.
3. For optimal precision, insert the fast thermocouple into the molten steel to a depth between 300-400mm, avoiding contact with the furnace wall or any scum. Once the secondary instrument displays the temperature reading, promptly withdraw the temperature measuring gun. Ensure the thermocouple's immersion in the molten steel is brief, less than 5 seconds, to prevent lance burnout.
4. Replace the spent thermocouple with a fresh one, allowing a brief pause to prepare for the subsequent measurement.
5. Transport and Storage
Exercise caution during assembly and disassembly of parts. Ensure the products remain dry during transportation. Store them in cases within a warehouse, maintaining a relative humidity below 80% and ensuring ample air circulation. The storage environment should be free of harmful gases that could cause corrosion.
