Premium quartz materials offer additional support and safeguarding for these thermo wires. A protective cap ensures the probe remains free from impurities, with all components skillfully assembled into a unified thermocouple tip, firmly bonded by fire-resistant filler for safe disposability.
4. Usage
1. Carefully select the precise length for both the protective paper tube and the thermocouple lance, tailored specifically to your measurement requirements.
2. Securely attach the fast thermocouple to the lance, ensuring that the secondary instrument or digital display is accurately reset to zero before starting measurement.
3. For ultimate precision, gently insert the fast thermocouple into the molten steel to a depth of 300-400mm, ensuring avoidance of contact with furnace walls or slag. Once the secondary instrument registers the temperature, swiftly withdraw the temperature measuring gun. Keep immersion brief, under 5 seconds, to prevent lance damage from overheating.
4. After use, replace the spent thermocouple with a new one, allowing a short interval to prepare for the next measurement.
5. Transport and Storage
Handle with care during the assembly and disassembly of components. Ensure products remain dry during transit and store in appropriate cases within a warehouse, with humidity levels below 80% and good air circulation. The storage environment should be devoid of harmful gases that might cause corrosion.
