3. Structure
The fast thermocouple boasts a sophisticated design featuring a temperature measuring probe encased in a robust paper tube. The probe comprises positive and negative wires expertly welded to an extension wire housed within a sturdy support bracket and shielded by a smaller paper tube. Utilizing quartz for enhanced support and protection, the probe is topped with a protective cap against dregs. All components are meticulously integrated into a cohesive thermocouple tip, bonded with fire-resistant filler, underscoring its disposable nature.
4. Usage
1, Choose the suitable length of the protective paper tube and thermocouple lance, tailored to the specific measurement object and range.
2, Secure the fast thermocouple to the lance, ensuring the secondary instrument's (or digital display's) pointer resets to zero before commencing measurement.
3, For optimal results, insert the fast thermocouple into molten steel at a depth of 300-400mm, avoiding contact with the furnace walls or impurities. Withdraw the temperature measuring gun immediately upon obtaining results to prevent damage, as the thermocouple should remain immersed for less than 5 seconds.
4, Replace the used thermocouple with a fresh one, allowing a brief pause to prepare for subsequent measurements.
5. Transport and Storage
Exercise caution during assembly and disassembly. Maintain a dry environment during transportation. Store the products in cases within warehouses where humidity remains below 80%, ensuring proper air circulation. Avoid exposure to harmful gases that could cause corrosion.
