3. Structure
The Fast Thermocouple is composed of a sophisticated temperature measuring probe paired with a robust large paper tube. The probe's positive and negative wires seamlessly connect to an extension wire mounted on a support bracket ensconced within a smaller paper tube. Meticulously protected by quartz, these thermo wires are shielded, with the probe itself capped to prevent dross contamination. All components combine within the thermocouple tip and are securely bonded with fire-resistant filler, ensuring a disposable yet reliable product.
4. Usage
1, Carefully select the appropriate length of protective paper tube and thermocouple lance tailored to the specific measurement objectives and parameters.
2, Install the fast thermocouple onto the thermocouple lance, ensuring the secondary instrument's pointer (or digital display) is reset to zero. Begin the measurement process with confidence.
3, For optimal results, insert the fast thermocouple into the molten steel to a depth of 300-400mm. Avoid contact with the furnace wall or any impurities. Promptly retract the temperature measuring gun once the secondary instrument displays the temperature. The immersion time should not exceed 5 seconds to prevent damage to the lance.
4, Replace the used thermocouple with a new one and pause briefly, ensuring readiness for the subsequent measurement.
