3. Structure
The fast thermocouple is ingeniously crafted, primarily featuring a temperature measuring probe and an expansive paper tube. Within, the positive and negative wires of the probe are seamlessly welded to an extension wire that's nestled in a support bracket, all elegantly encased by a petite paper tube. Quartz provides unwavering support and protection to the thermo wires. A cap shields the probe from dregs, ensuring peak performance. All components are expertly assembled into a thermocouple tip, unified by a fire-resistant filler, solidifying its disposable nature.
4. Usage
1, Choose the optimal length for the protective paper tube and thermocouple lance based on the target measurement object and required range.
2, Securely attach the fast thermocouple to the lance, ensuring the secondary instrument's pointer (or digital display) is reset to zero. Initiate the measurement process with confidence.
3, For precise results, insert the fast thermocouple into the molten steel to a depth of 300-400mm, avoiding contact with the furnace wall or scum. Swiftly retrieve the measuring gun as soon as the secondary instrument displays results. Note that the fast thermocouple's immersion time should not exceed 5 seconds to prevent lance damage.
4, Replace the used thermocouple with a fresh one, allowing a brief pause before commencing the next measurement cycle.
