3. Structure
The fast thermocouple structure features a durable temperature measuring probe allied with a robust paper tube. Key components include a positive and negative wire, expertly welded to an extension wire, all housed within a supportive and protective bracket covered by a diminutive paper tube. The delicate thermo wires benefit from additional protection by high-quality quartz, while a secure cap shields the temperature measuring probe from unwanted dregs. This disposable thermocouple is ingeniously assembled with fire-resistant filler, ensuring its reliability in rigorous conditions.
4. Usage
1. Select the optimal length of protective paper tube and thermocouple lance, tailored to the specific object and measurement scope, to ensure precision and ease of use.
2. Secure the fast thermocouple onto the thermocouple lance, ensuring that the secondary instrument's pointer (or digital display) is reset to zero before commencing measurement for accuracy.
3. For effective results, immerse the fast thermocouple into the molten steel at a strategic depth of 300-400mm, avoiding contact with the furnace wall or any scum. Once the secondary instrument registers results, swiftly withdraw the temperature measuring gun. Remember, the thermocouple's soak time should not exceed 5 seconds to prevent damage to the lance.
4. Upon completion, replace the used thermocouple with a fresh one and allow a brief pause to prepare for successive measurements, ensuring continuous operational efficiency.
