3. Ingenious Structure
The fast thermocouple boasts a thoughtful design, primarily consisting of a temperature measuring probe coupled with a robust paper tube. The positive and negative wires of the probe are expertly welded to an extension wire, securely nested within a support bracket, all enveloped by a protective small paper tube. The thermo wires are further reinforced and shielded by durable quartz. A protective cap safeguards the temperature measuring probe from metal dregs, and the entire assembly is seamlessly integrated into a thermocouple tip, bonded together with a fire-resistant filler for cohesive unity. This meticulous craftsmanship ensures disposability after use.
4. Effortless Usage
1. Select the optimal length of the protective paper tube and thermocouple lance, aligning with the specific measurement objectives and scope.
2. Affix the fast thermocouple to the thermocouple lance, ensuring the pointer of the secondary instrument (or digital display) resets to zero. Begin the precise measurement process.
3. For optimal results, insert the fast thermocouple into the molten steel at a depth of 300-400mm, avoiding contact with the furnace wall or slag. Promptly withdraw the temperature measuring gun once the secondary instrument captures the data. To safeguard the lance, the fast thermocouple's immersion in molten steel should be under 5 seconds.
4. After use, replace the thermocouple with a new one, and allow a brief pause before commencing the next measurement cycle.
