3. Structure
The fast thermocouple boasts a thoughtfully engineered construction featuring a temperature measuring probe seamlessly integrated with a robust paper tube. The probe's positive and negative wires are expertly soldered to an extension wire nestled within a support bracket cloaked by a smaller paper tube. Reinforced by quartz for resilient support and protection, the probe is topped with a cap to shield against dregs. All components coalesce within a thermocouple tip, unified by a fire-resistant filler, culminating in a convenient, disposable unit.
4. Usage
1, Carefully choose the appropriate length of the protective paper tube and the thermocouple lance, tailored to the specific object and scope of your measurement needs.
2, Securely attach the fast thermocouple to the lance, ensuring that the secondary instrument (or digital display) needle is reset to zero. You're now ready to commence precise measurements.
3, For optimal accuracy, insert the fast thermocouple into the molten steel to a depth of 300-400mm, avoiding contact with furnace walls or slag. Withdraw the temperature measuring gun promptly once the secondary instrument displays the results. Note: The fast thermocouple should remain in the molten steel for no more than 5 seconds to prevent lance burnout.
4, Replace the spent thermocouple with a fresh one and allow a brief pause to prepare for the subsequent measurement session.
